PAP President's Congratulatory Message to the 2018 BLEPP PASSERS

A warm congratulations to our soon-to-be newly licensed psychologists and psychometricians! Your hard work, perseverance, and sacrifices paid off.

Being a licensed professional is a privilege, but more importantly, a responsibility. Whereas the license gives us the legitimate right to practice our profession, may it also serve as a reminder that it is our responsibility to serve the people whom we work with in ways that are competent, ethical, and sincere. Our role as psychologists and psychometricians is crucial in promoting awareness of issues on mental health, nation-building, among others.

On the same note, may I take this opportunity to invite you to join the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) after your oath taking. The PAP is the Accredited and Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for registered psychologists and psychometricians. As newly licensed professionals, you are mandated to become a PAP member, which would entitle you to benefits and privileges, as well as be subject to all responsibilities and obligations of the members of the organization. The PAP is a non-profit organization committed to the promotion of excellence in teaching, research, and practice of psychology. To learn more about the PAP, and to know the process of membership application, you may visit our website at We look forward to having you in the organization.

Once again, congratulations to our new RPms and RPsys! Celebrate your well-deserved success!

All the best,

Ron R. Resurreccion

President, PAP
